LAS CRUCES, N.M. --- The Fresno State baseball team finished off New Mexico State 14-7 on Saturday afternoon for the Bulldogs' second straight Western Athletic Conference series win.

Senior designated hitter Kenneth Wise launched his 23rd career Fresno State home run when he lifted a three-run shot to right center field and headlined the Bulldogs' five-run third inning. Wise, the reigning WAC Hitter of the week, went 4-for-5 with 4 RBI in the game that the 'Dogs never trailed and posted three innings of three or more runs scored.

Freshman Jordan Luplow also homered in the game and sophomore third baseman Jake Alvarez scored three runs. In total, five Bulldogs recorded multiple hits in the game.

Thomas Harlan pitched 6.1 innings and struck out eight Aggie batters to earn his sixth victory of the season.

Fresno State (23-24, 6-9 WAC) can secure a spot in the upcoming WAC Tournament by winning at least two of three meetings next weekend when Louisiana Tech visits Beiden Field for a three-game series or finishing ahead of San Jose State in the final conference standings.
