FRESNO, Calif. --- Bulldogs' freshman Kevin Viers launched two solo home runs to help the Fresno State baseball team finish off its series sweep of the Nevada Wolf Pack with a 6-4 win on Saturday night at Pete Beiden Field.

The Bulldogs jumped in front early with a run in the first and two more in the second inning for a 3-0 lead. After the Pack scored an unearned run in the fourth, Fresno State responded with runs in the fifth and sixth to move ahead 5-1.

Kevin Viers provided the `Dogs their offense with home runs in back-to-back at bats in the fifth and seventh innings. The two homers for Viers were his third and fourth of his Fresno State career - both solo shots over the right field wall. Viers went 3-of-4 with two RBIs and crossed the plate three times.
