FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State junior Aaron Judge earned his third Preseason accolade after Baseball America named the outfielder a first-team Preseason All-American selection.
Judge, a native of Linden, Calif., enters his third season with the Bulldogs. Over the summer he was the winner of the 2012 TD Ameritrade Home Run Derby, a few weeks earlier the slugger helped lead the Bulldogs to their seventh consecutive conference crown.
Perfect Game and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association also selected Judge as a Preseason All-American. During his sophomore season, he hit .308 with 27 RBI and 13 stolen bases to earn first-team all-conference accolades.
Judge is the Mountain West's sole student-athlete to be recognized with first-team honors and one of two student-athletes from the MW to earn a preseason accolade from Baseball America.
