In the first of an eight-game road stretch, the Fresno State baseball team dropped a non-conference game 11-4 at Pacific on a wet Tuesday night in Stockton.

Fresno State (6-18) and Pacific (7-15) are meeting for the second time this season as the two squads squared off in Stockton two weeks ago with the Tigers picking up an 11-4 win. Tuesday night will give the 'Dogs a chance to even the season series.

Last week, Fresno State went 2-2 in earning its first two road victories of the year behind a strong pitching showing by sophomore Derick Velazquez, who started both of the Bulldogs' victories and tossed 8.1 scoreless innings and eight strikeouts.

At the plate, Aaron Judge went 9-for-16 (.563) and Kevin Viers hit 6-for-14 (.429) in Fresno State's four games played in the past week.
