Miller Named WAC Pitcher of the Week

    FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State pitcher Justin Miller has been named WAC Pitcher of the Week for the week of April 7-13. This is the second time Miller has won the award. Tanner Scheppers has also won the honor twice.

    Miller, a junior from Bakersfield, Calif. (Bakersfield College), went 1-0 last week in seven innings of work, allowing only two hits with 10 strikeouts and a 0.00 ERA. Miller struck out a career-high nine batters in Sunday's 8-0 win over Louisiana Tech. Miller has the top era in the WAC at 1.29.
