FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State baseball team hosts Cal Poly for the final time in 2010 Tuesday night. The Bulldogs and Mustangs met twice earlier in the season and the `Dogs won both games. Tonight's contest is the last non-conference game scheduled this year.

About the Mustangs
Cal Poly is 12-27 this season. Last weekend, the Mustangs won a three-game series against Long Beach State. Mitch Haniger is batting .339 with four home runs and 25 RBIs. Kyle Anderson is 1-4 in 2010 with an ERA of 9.78.

Ribera Leads the Nation
Jordan Ribera leads the team, conference and nation in home runs with 21. He is ahead of Jacob Tanis from Mercer University by two home run. The first baseman also leads the nation in home runs per game with .47 a game. Ribera is ninth in the nation in total bases with 140 so far this season.

Bulldogs Power Hitting Line up
As a team Fresno State is hitting .311 this season and 12 of the Bulldogs are hitting over .300. Head coach Mike Batesole's line up can consist of seven to all nine players in the lineup hitting over .300. Garrett Weber has the best average of the starters at .357. Leadoff man Danny Muno has an on base percentage of .441, while cleanup hitter Jordan Ribera leads the country in home runs with 21.

Another One Bites the Dust
Whenever an opposing batter is struck out at Beiden Field, "Another One Bites the Dust" is played. Already this season teams are tired of hearing it after the Bulldogs have a total of 293 strikeouts. The `Dogs recorded a team high 13 strikeouts against CSU Bakersfield on April 13, 2010. Greg Gonzalez leads the team in strikeouts with 48. Fresno State leads the WAC in batters struck out looking (92) and individually Matt Morse leads the league in strikeouts looking with 19.
