Kyle Burnett is in his first season as an athletic trainer at Fresno State. Burnett is responsible for the treatment and prevention of injuries for the men's basketball team, as well as also overseeing the equestrian and men's and women's tennis programs.
He became a certified athletic trainer in December 2009 and worked with the University of the Pacific women's basketball and cross country teams while earning his bachelor's degree in Sport Sciences - Athletic Training.
He continued on to California State University, Fullerton, where he received his master's degree in Kinesiology - Exercise Science and served as the athletic trainer for the men's basketball team the past two seasons.
