Fresno State: Team-first player who mixes good outside shooting with tough defense … saw his playing time increase last year, and he responded with a productive season … possesses a good outside shot and can be deadly from beyond the arc … one of the hardest working players on the team … can rack up the points when he gets a hot hand. (2001-02) Played and started in all 34 games … averaged 6.4 points and 3.2 rebounds per game … finished the season strong, scoring in double figures in four of the last six games … had one of the most amazing defensive performances in program history against Oklahoma State, making 11 steals, a school record, in an upset victory over the 14th-ranked Cowboys … has a .336 shooting percentage from beyond the arc in his career … was the only Bulldog to play and start in every game … he also was the only player to produce double figures in four different categories (points, rebounds, assists, steals) … had his first career double-double against SMU when he scored 12 points and dished out 11 assists … started the last 21 games of the year at the two-guard position … began the season as the starting point guard, the first time he played that position since the fifth grade.
