2009-10 (Freshman): As one the nation's premier freshmen, he dominated the frontcourt and solidified his powerful presence as the only Bulldog starter in all 33 games ... he earned 2009-10 WAC Freshman of the Year and Freshman All-American (CollegeInsider.com) honors ... ranked as one of the top 12 overall in field goal percentage and the NCAA's 50th highest scoring freshman ... during his inaugural Bulldog campaign, he averaged 11.5 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.2 blocks per game while converting 58 percent of his field goal attempts (148-257), the seventh-best single-season performance in program history ... led team with four double-doubles (Nov. 13, Nov. 19, Nov. 23 and Jan. 23), including three of his first four collegiate contests with the other lifting the Bulldogs to a key 87-77 victory over Nevada ... on the season, finished third in the WAC in field goal percentage (148-257, 57.6%), eighth in the WAC in blocked shots (40) and blocked shots per game (1.21), ninth in the WAC in offensive rebounds (76) and offensive rebounds per game (2.3), and 15th in the WAC in rebounds per game (5.8) ... in the final WAC-only regular season rankings, finished ninth in field goal percentage (69-130, 53.1%), offensive rebounds (39) and offensive rebounds per game (2.4), 13th in steals (16) and steals per game (1.0), and 15th in blocked shots (9) and blocked shots per game (0.6) ... recorded career-high 25 points and grabbed a career-best 11 rebounds to power the win over Nevada on Jan. 23, 2010 ... scored at least 20 points in three games and reached double-digits in 20 contests.
