Rodney Terry, Fresno State Head Coach

On Fresno State's win over Seattle University
"We knew it was going to be a high possession game. We played a really red hot, Seattle team, who won 7 out of the last nine games and played one of the best basketball nights of the year. Great game for us in terms of preparation for Saturday, we are going to see a similar type of game with a team that really pushes it into transition and tempo. We would really like to get up and down the floor a little bit. They have good athletes in Nevada. It was a great game leading into Saturday's contest. Guys did a great job taking care of the basketball. We had 12 turnovers in the game and we did a great job attacking when we broke the press. We got to the free throw line 39 times, the best we have done all year long. Really pleased with our effort. We knew we had to play this game for forty minutes. They are the type of team to get after you and they are not going to stop the whole time with relentless pressure on the floor, but our guys did a good job of playing for forty minutes.

On how the team prepared for zone defense
"We played against zone defense all year long and we have been a really good zone offensive team all year long. The times we have really stopped ourselves in zone offense is us stopping ourselves, not the defense. Whether we had open looks, we have to step in and make shots. We were 2 for 17 in the first half and we had open looks, we just had to step in and stick it. Difference of two halves, second half came in and guys stepped in and took shots. Guys felt confident and they weren't hesitate. We got the ball where we wanted it, the guys did a great job of attacking and really adjusting in terms of what we were looking in attacking the line, and we made shots. If that ball goes in the basket it makes everything a lot easier."

On Jerry Brown's strong defensive night
"I thought Jerry Brown was really big in this game with 11 rebounds. He would rebound the basketball and give us a really good defensive presence. I thought he did that for us. I thought that when he got to the free throw line there. I thought he gave us a really good game. We knew we were going to be up against some athletic posts, guys that tried to drive the basketball and do threats where they could drive and shoot. I thought we had tremendous effort from him. Obviously KO shot the ball really well tonight, that is what he works on and that is what he does. He is a guy that can make open shots, he was very decisive in terms of taking his shots, wasn't hesitate and stepped in and knocked them down."

On the possibility of seeing Brad play in the first half more often
"We have a lot of confidence in Brad. Brad has really helped our team this year. You haven't seen it as much on the floor, but in practice he brings tremendous effort everyday. You know what you are going to get with Brad when he comes in there. Whether we are in practice, whether we're just in individual work outs, I mean he is a guy who is going to go as hard as he can go and he is physical in terms of being able to guard and we have a lot of confidence in him, we really do. I said this about three weeks ago, don't be surprised if you look up and see Brad in the game cause we have a lot of confidence in him, and his teammates have a lot of confidence in terms of what he brings to the table. He came in and gave tremendous effort in the first half. He got 2 offensive rebounds for us, but that is to be expected. We know he is going to go out and give us great, great, effort and don't be surprised to see him out there, absolutely not."

Kevin Olekaibe, Fresno State Sophomore Guard

On his performance during the game
"I credit my teammates. They were looking for me even when I wasn't open, they were still trying to look for me and the coaches, it is their scheme, they draw up all the plays, I couldn't do it without them. The coaches draw the plays and my teammates, that's it."

On his personal feelings of being the first to reach 40 points in over a decade
"It means a lot. I was just trying to play my game and play loose. Coach is always telling me if I miss a shot, just keep shooting and I couldn't do it without my team. They looked for me and found me, and I was just stepping in and shooting the ball."

Cameron Dollar, Seattle University Head Coach

"Coach Terry did a really good job with his team. They played really hard, they scraped, they competed. They really sort of punched us in the mouth the first half. They outscored us in the first half even though we were up by one because they had more energy and more life and they out competed us. I'm disappointed in my team because they played soft but you have to give Fresno State credit. I think they played really hard so hats off to him for getting his guys to play that way."
