With the win, Fresno State completed its first-ever season sweep of UNLV and secured its first road win over the Rebels in program history.
Senior forward Kevin Foster posted his sixth career double-double with 25 points and 10 rebounds. This was Foster's 20th career double-digit scoring game and 10th career double-digit rebounding game. The 25 points also marked his fourth career game with at least 20 points.
Foster also hit a career-high six 3-pointers in making his first six 3-point attempts of the game to mark the Bulldogs' second straight road conference game with a player hitting their first six 3-pointers. Kevin Olekaibe went 6-for-6 from beyond the 3-point arc to tie a Mountain West record on Feb. 27 at Colorado State.
Junior guard Kevin Olekaibe scored 13 points and dished out a career-best eight assists to move past Kevin Bell (2005-08) for No. 20 on the Bulldogs' all-time scoring list. This was Olekaibe's 56th game with 10 or more points and now has 1,166 career points over 91 career games. The eight assists were double his previous career-best single-game mark of four, which he had posted four previous times during his three-year Fresno State career.
Fresno State improved to 10-2 this season when leading with five minutes to play.
Fresno State's 16 assists were the most when playing a Mountain West opponent this season.
