FRESNO, Calif. --- A much more aggressive Fresno State men's basketball team continually attacked UCLA through solid penetration from the Bulldogs' backcourt, but UCLA's highly-touted freshmen trio stepped up after a sluggish start to lift the Bruins to a 91-78 victory over the 'Dogs on Saturday evening at historic Pauley Pavilion.

Fresno State freshman guard Marvelle Harris scored a career-best 19 points for his fourth double-digit effort of the season to lead the Bulldogs offensively and Tyler Johnson added 16 as the 'Dogs suffered their fourth straight loss.

Shabazz Muhammad scored 20 of his career-high 27 points in the second half to lead a dominant effort by UCLA's freshmen, as a total of three Bruins scored at least 20 points.

Fellow freshmen starters Jordan Adams added 25 points and Kyle Anderson had career bests with 20 points and 17 rebounds for the Bruins (9-3), who improved to 7-0 all-time against the Bulldogs in the teams' first meeting since Dec. 27, 1990.
