    Fresno State (7-12, 1-5 MW) visits Air Force (12-6, 3-2 MW) for the first time since 1997 when the 'Dogs and Falcons play on Wednesday at 6 p.m. PT. The game will be on KMJ 580 AM and www.gobulldogs.com.

    About the Air Force Falcons
    Air Force enters the match-up with the `Dogs coming off a quality win on the road at Wyoming. Head coach Dave Pilipovich is in his first full year as head coach and in his sixth overall with the Falcons who are 12-6 (3-2 MW) this year. Leading the Falcons is senior guard Michael Lyons who is averaging 18.2 ppg and 4.6 rpg. In addition to Lyons, three other Falcons have started all 18 games and each have averaged nine points per game.

    Against the Air Force Falcons
    Fresno State leads the all-time series with Air Force 9-4 with a 4-2 advantage in games played in Colorado Springs. This is the first meeting since between the schools since the Bulldogs beat the Falcons 68-52 in a non-conference game at Selland Arena in 2001. The 'Dogs have won three of the past four road contests with the Falcons.

    Free Throws Play Key Factor in 'Dogs 3-game Skid
    In three straight MW losses to Nevada, Boise State and Colorado State, Fresno State's opponents converted 85.7 percent (85-of-97) of their free throw attempts, including a MW single-game record 26-of-26 effort by the Broncos to fuel BSU's 74-67 loss. Nevada scored 30 of its 68 points at the free throw line while the Bulldogs converted just 57.1 percent of its 21 attempts in a tough 68-61 loss to the Pack. CSU made 29 of its 34 charity stripe shots in beating the Bulldogs 74-63.
