Johnson Continues Ascent as Key Scorer
Bulldogs' senior guard Tyler Johnson, who is in his fourth and final year at Fresno State, has steadily improved in each of his four seasons - increasing his scoring average from 4.4 (freshman) to 9.3 (sophomore) to 12.1 (junior) and now 15.5 as a senior.
Fresno State Picked to Finish Eighth in MW
Fresno State was projected to finish eighth out of 11 Mountain West schools, as selected by a voting panel comprised of Conference media, during preseason voting. Defending regular season and tournament champion New Mexico was the clear favorite of the Conference media to win the MW men's basketball regular-season title in 2013-14.
