The top five seeds earn a first-round bye with seeds 6-11 opening on Wednesday, March 13 (6 vs. 11, 7 vs. 10 and 8 vs. 9).

Bulldogs' senior guard Tyler Johnson has steadily improved during his four-year Fresno State career - increasing his scoring average from 4.4 (freshman) to 9.3 (sophomore) to 12.1 (junior) and now 15.9 as a senior. Johnson has scored at least 20 points nine times his career, with seven of those coming in the last nine contests.
