'Dogs Outlasted in Double OT
Fresno State dialed up a gritty road effort and forced its first double overtime game in six years, but the San Jose State Spartans outlasted the Bulldogs 79-71 on Thursday night in the Bulldogs' final game at The Event Center as a member of the Western Athletic Conference.

The San Jose State Spartans are in their first season as a member of the Mountain West Conference. The Spartans are in last place in the MW standings at 0-10 in league play and own a 6-16 record for the season. SJSU ranks in the top five in the nation in 3-point field goal attempts. Bulldogs' senior guard Tyler Johnson has steadily improved during his four-year Fresno State career - increasing his scoring average from 4.4 (freshman) to 9.3 (sophomore) to 12.1 (junior) and now 15.9 as a senior. Johnson has scored at least 20 points nine times his career, with seven of those coming in the last nine contests.
