Against the San Diego State Aztecs
Fresno State and San Diego State have a long history of playing each other on the hardwood - dating back to 1940. SDSU, who is Fresno State's third-most common opponent, has won the last five meetings. The Bulldogs last defeated the Aztecs on Nov. 27, 2000, but the victory was Fresno State's third over SDSU vacated due to the use of an ineligible student-athlete. The most recent official win by Fresno State over San Diego State was a 92-57 win in the 2008 WAC Tournament on March 5, 1998. SDSU leads the all-time series 55-45.
* Note = This would be the 104th meeting if not for three Fresno State vacated wins in 1999 and 2000.
