    RUSTON, La. - After an exciting 88-82 conference victory over second-place Boise State on Monday night, Fresno State takes to the road for a pair of games as the Bulldogs visit Louisiana Tech (Feb. 12) and New Mexico State (Feb. 14) to complete a difficult set of three games in six days. Both contests will be broadcast on the Bulldog Sports Network with the pre-game show "Hittin' the Hardwood" airing 30 minutes before each game.

    Fresno State trails the overall series with New Mexico State, 18-12. The Aggies beat the Bulldogs, 79-66, in the first meeting between the schools this season (1/3/09).

    ON THE RADAR: Hawai'i Rainbow Warriors
    The `Dogs will play for the second time this season on national television as Fresno State hosts the Rainbows next Thursday night (Feb. 21) on ESPN2 in a rare 8 p.m. tip off. The `Dogs have won five of the past six games with Hawai'i played in Fresno, Calif.

    Freshman guard Paul George broke out for a career-high 29 points while grabbing 10 rebounds for his sixth career double-double as Fresno State beat second-place Boise State, 88-82. George shot 9 of 11 from the field while hitting three 3-pointers to climb into the spot as the sixth highest scoring freshman in the country. Junior forward Sylvester Seay netted 23 points as four Bulldogs reached double figures. Freshman guards Mychal Ladd and Bryce Cartwright each added 14 points in the big home win.

    Golubovic Named First-Team Academic All-District 8
    Nedeljko Golubovic, a sophomore originally from Pljevlja, Serbia, earned an exclusive spot on the First-Team Academic All-District 8 team and now is on the ballot to be selected as an Academic All-American. This is believed to be the first such honor for a Fresno State men's basketball student-athlete in the history of the program. Golubovic earned a cumulative 3.76 grade point average in his three semesters at Fresno State, including a distinction on the President's List during the Fall 2007 semester for a perfect 4.0 GPA. Golubovic's selection puts him in an elite group, as he was the only University Division student-athlete from a California college and the only representative from a Western Athletic Conference school to earn recognition.

    "Join the State - Fresno State!" - The `Dogs hit the road as they travel to take on Louisiana Tech on Thursday, February 12 at 5:00 p.m. The game will air on the Bulldog Sports Network and can be seen on KAIL-TV (MY 53) and My Digital 7.1 on HDTV. The `Dogs return to the Save Mart Center on Thursday, Feb. 19, 2009, as they host Hawai'i at 8:00 p.m. for a national broadcast on ESPN2. It's Thursday Night at the Save Mart Center and all Fresno State and Fresno Unified School District faculty and staff can receive $2 tickets with presentation of their ID (limit 4 tickets) at the Save Mart Center box office.
