2014-15 Fresno State Men's Basketball Schedule

FRESNO, Calif. --- The Fresno State men's basketball team will open the 2014-15 regular season on the road at Pepperdine on Nov. 14 and play a total of 14 regular-season home games at the Save Mart Center this season, including a non-conference home contest versus California on Nov. 30.
"Our University and program are looking forward to the upcoming season, and the challenging schedule it will bring," head coach Rodney Terry said. "There will be high level basketball environments night in and night out, competing against some of the best teams in the country."
The Bulldogs' non-conference schedule features three home games against teams that reached either the 2014 NCAA or NIT Tournaments - Cal (Nov. 30), UC Irvine (Dec. 3) and Cal Poly (Dec. 13). In addition to the season opener at Pepperdine (Nov. 14), the Bulldogs will spend most of late November on the road - traveling to Northern Arizona (Nov. 20) and Florida for tournament experience right before Thanksgiving.
Fresno State will compete in the Gulf Coast Showcase Tournament in Ft. Myers, Fla. from Nov. 24-26 with match-ups and the bracket yet to be finalized for three games over three days.
The first chance to see the Bulldogs in action will be at the Save Mart Center for a home exhibition game against UC Santa Cruz (Nov. 9) and the home opener is set for Monday, Nov. 17 when the `Dogs return home to play against Bristol University.
The Bulldogs will return home for a two-game stretch of contests against California (Nov. 30) and UC Irvine (Dec. 3). Then, the Bulldogs travel down Highway 99 to play at Cal State Bakersfield (Dec. 6). Continuing on their road trip, the `Dogs head to Coach Rodney Terry's home state of Texas to play against the Big-12's Texas Tech (Dec. 10).
Fresno State returns home for its' fourth consecutive season matchup against Cal Poly (Dec. 13). After fall semester final exams have concluded, Fresno State will travel to Pacific to play their final non-conference road game (Dec. 20) and the non-conference schedule will end at home with a game against St. Katherine College (Dec. 28).
The Bulldogs' third season in the Mountain West features a home schedule that includes visits from San Diego State, Utah State, Wyoming, Nevada, San Jose State, Boise State, Colorado State, New Mexico State and Air Force. Five of those eight games will be televised on ESPN's family of networks.
Fresno State's final regular season game will be against Air Force (Mar. 4) in the Save Mart Center. The `Dogs final game will be at Boise State (Mar. 7) and televised on ESPN3.
The 2015 MW Men's Basketball Championship will be held in Las Vegas at Thomas & Mack Center from March 12-15. VIP all-session tickets, good for all 19 games of the 2015 Mountain West Basketball Championships, are available for $675 and $425. Reserved all-session tickets are available for $220 and $180.
