FRESNO, Calif. --- With the 2012-13 Fresno State men's basketball season right around the corner, now is the time to secure your season tickets with packages starting at $149 through the Bulldog Foundation.
"We would love to have you come out and take a look at our guys for the first time," second-year head coach Rodney Terry said. "There are a lot of new faces. We are excited about that, and more depth than we had a year ago."
Season tickets are only available through the Bulldog Foundation, and the $149 price for the lower bowl seats equals less than $10 per game. To purchase season tickets, please call the BDF at 559-278-7160.
"We need the Red Wave to support us all season long," said Terry. "We are going to be playing in hostile environments all year and a full Save Mart Center helps our guys as we compete for a championship."
Non-conference single game tickets, which will go on sale on Monday, Oct. 29 through www.ticketmaster.com, and start at $17 for adults and $9 for youth for 12 of the 15 home contests at the Save Mart Center.
Single-game tickets for the Bulldogs' exhibition against Fresno Pacific (Nov. 2), San Diego Christian (Dec. 6) and Sonoma State (Dec. 30) will be priced at an affordable $7 for adults and $5 for youth (ages 2-12).
The single-game tickets will be available for purchase by phone through Ticketmaster at 1-800-745-3000, online at www.ticketmaster.com, at official Ticketmaster outlets or at the Save Mart Center Box Office (open 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Monday through Friday).
Fresno State students have already paid for their admission through student fees, and need to just show their university student ID card to attend (at no additional cost).
Single-game tickets for Fresno State's eight home Mountain West match-ups will go on sale in December. Those MW conference games include showdowns against two teams ranked in the preseason USA Today/ESPN Coaches Poll - No. 19 UNLV (Feb. 6) and No. 20 San Diego State (Jan. 9) - and four schools that made the 2012 NCAA Tournament (UNLV, SDSU, New Mexico and Colorado State).
"For us, you take it game to game," Terry said. "You take it day to day and continue to try and improve. We can control our effort, we can control how hard we play, how hard we compete, our preparation; and every night we are going to try our best to bring it no matter who we are playing, whether it's the best team in the league or middle or whatever you want to say in terms of where guys are ranked in the league. We are going to compete, and I think we will be very competitive, and we are going to play to win."
