    FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State men's basketball team is set to welcome the Washington State Cougars back to the Save Mart Center for a Black Friday non-conference showdown on Nov. 26 at 7 p.m.

    The holiday special will feature Fresno State's Greg Smith low post presence and an up-tempo brand of basketball for an exciting evening.

    The game can be heard live on KMJ Radio (580 AM) with the voices of Paul Loeffler and Randy Rosenbloom calling the action.

    Bulldogs Charge Past Vanguard in Home Opener
    Fresno State opened the season with a sound 74-42 victory over the Vanguard Lions for the 60th win in the Save Mart Center during the Steve Cleveland Era. The Dogs used a 33-0 edge in fast-break points and junior Bennie Rhodes led the team in scoring with 17 points.

    Dogs Defend Home Floor, Second-Most Save Mart Center Wins
    In the 2009-10 season, Fresno State recorded their most home victories since the 2006-07 season with 12 wins in the Save Mart Center to tie the second-most in the building's history. In Steve Cleveland's first two seasons at the helm, the Dogs went 15-3 (2006-07) and 12-2 (2005-06) at home. The Bulldogs are 78-38 (67%) since the pristine 15,596-seat Save Mart Center opened on Oct. 27, 2003. Cleveland is now 150-50 (75%) during his 14-year home career record and 60-24 in the Save Mart Center over the past six seasons.

    Over the 32-year period (1978-2010), the numbers show that Fresno State is one of the top Division I basketball programs on the West Coast. Fresno State ranks fourth among the 33 Division 1 programs in wins (573) and winning percentage (58%).
