    Against the UCLA Bruins
Fresno State and UCLA have met only six previous times with the Bruins owning a 6-0 advantage. Saturday's matchup between the schools will be the first in over 20 years with the last meeting back on Dec. 27, 1990 (UCLA 110-FS 89). All but one of the matchups have occurred away from Fresno, including a NIT Quarterfinal matchup in 1985 in Los Angeles.

Bulldogs Making Run through Pac-12 Opponents
In Terry's first two seasons, Fresno State will play a total of seven different Pac-12 opponents, including two at the Save Mart Center (Utah and Colorado). This year, the Bulldogs lost 59-50 at Washington State and 50-43 at home to Colorado and visit UCLA on Dec. 22 at the new Pauley Pavilion.

Terry Turns Up the Pressure, Exploits Takeaways
The relentless defensive pressure that Terry expects from his squad has held opponents to just 40.0 percent shooting (211-of-527) from the field and 28.0 percent 3-point shooting (40-of-143). Fresno State has forced an average of 16.0 turnovers per game (176 total) and own a +47 points off turnover margin (173-126), as well as a +43 steal margin (90-47).

Bulldogs Play With aggressive Defensive Tenacity
Fresno State has held opponents to an average of 55.8 points per game, which is tied for the Mountain West lead with undefeated Wyoming, as well as in the top 20 nationally. The 'Dogs have also not allowed an opponent to score more than 70 points in a game and limited opponents to under 60 points in eight of their 11 games, including each of the past six contests.

    Valuing the Basketball
One of Rodney Terry's points of emphasis is the importance of valuing the basketball. Since Terry's arrival, Fresno State has not committed more turnovers than its opponents in 40 of the 44 games, including 35 of those 44 games where the 'Dogs made fewer turnovers than its opponents.

Bulldogs Focused on Executing Down the Stretch
The Bulldogs' losses have come by a combined 36 points (6.0 points per game) and two of the defeats were decided by a single possession (three points or fewer). Fresno State has outscored opponents by an average of 2.5 points per game (58.3 to 55.8), and have played much better offensively in the second half of games by owning a +25 point advantage (348 to 323) in the final 20 minutes of regulation this season.

Olekaibe Moving Up The Bulldogs' Record Books
Junior Kevin Olekaibe currently ranks 29th on Fresno State's all-time scoring list with 1,005 career points in 73 games. He also ranks seventh in 3-point field goal attempts (495) and ninth in 3-point field goals made (161). Olekaibe owns the seventh-best career free throw clip (79.0%).

    Huddleston Provides Instant Scoring Presence
Redshirt junior point guard Allen Huddleston has provided a multi-dimensional scoring threat from the backcourt. Huddleston, who sat out last season as a Division I transfer form Pacific, has been one of the top 20 scorers in the Mountain West during non-conference play (11.7 ppg).

'Dogs Defend Ground in Golden State Under Terry
For the second straight season, Fresno State is playing 19 of its regular season games in the state of California. Under Coach Terry, Fresno State is 16-9 when playing in the Golden State, including an 11-7 home record and a 1-2 mark against Pac-12 opponents on California floors.

Mountain West Teams Strong out of the Gate
Through games of December 18, Mountain West teams still boast the nation's best collective win percentage. MW squads are 73-18 against non-conference opponents for a .802 win percentage. Seven of the MW's 18 losses have been to teams that were or are currently ranked (Texas, Syracuse, Michigan State, Colorado, Wichita State).

With its 73-18 non-conference mark, the Mountain West is on pace to post the best composite out-of-conference record in the league's 14-year history. The MW's .802 win percentage currently ranks ahead of the .756 (102-33) clip the league compiled last season. The MW has finished with a .700 or better win percentage in non-conference play each of the last three seasons and four times overall.

    Bulldogs Begin Mountain West Era
Fresno State is in its first season as a member of the Mountain West, which produced four NCAA Tournament teams last year. The MW features three teams ranked in the AP and USA Today/ESPN Coaches polls (No. 18/15 San Diego State, No. 16/17 New Mexico and No. 21/18 UNLV) as well as undefeated Wyoming receiving votes in both national polls. The Mountain West had the fifth-best conference RPI through games of December 16, according to Collegiate Basketball News, ranking ahead of the Atlantic-10, Big 12 and SEC.

Fresno State Picked to Finish Seventh in MW
Fresno State was projected to finish seventh out of nine Mountain West schools, as selected by a voting panel comprised of Conference media, during preseason voting. Defending MW co-regular season champion San Diego State edged UNLV as the Conference media's preseason favorite to win the MW men's basketball regular-season title in 2012-13.

    Dialing from Long Distance
Fresno State has made a 3-pointer in 550 consecutive games, which ranks third among current Mountain West institutions. The last time Fresno State did not convert a 3-pointer in a game was back on Dec. 2, 1995 versus Princeton in the Coors Light Classic at Selland Arena, which the Tigers won 59-54. The MW's UNLV currently holds the NCAA record for consecutive games with at least one 3-pointer as the Runnin' Rebels are one of only three schools in the nation to make one 3-pointer in every one of their games since the rule was implemented.
