This week's fact
When Fresno State and San Jose State rekindle their rivalry that began in 1927 on Saturday at Bulldog Stadium, it will be the 64th time in history the two teams have met. The Spartans hold a slim 32-28-3 lead in the all-time series.


The only team Fresno State has played more in its history is the University of Pacific. Before they dropped their football program, the Tigers and Bulldogs squared off 69 times, with Pacific holding a 41-26-2 advantage.
