2013 (Junior): Named to the 2013 Mountain West All-Academic team ... missed the entire year after suffering nerve damage in his should during spring practices.

2012 (Sophomore): Honorable mention All-Mountain West ... started all 13 games at cornerback ... was fifth on the team with 51 tackles ... his five interceptions tied for 11th nationally and ranked third in the Mountain West ... part of secondary that ranked second nationally in pass defense, giving up only 167.15 yards per game through the air, and ranked fourth in the FBS in pass efficiency defense at 100.75 ... helped the Bulldog defense rank fifth nationally with an opponent completion percentage of just .514 ... helped lead the Fresno State defense that ranked third nationally in interceptions (22), fifth in turnovers gained (35), 22nd in total defense (338.8) and 23rd nationally in third-down conversion defense (.340) ... recorded six pass breakups on the year, which was the second-most on the team ... had five tackles and two interceptions that he returned for 50 yards against SMU in the Sheraton Hawai'i Bowl ... had 2.0 tackles for a loss and one sack on the season ... forced a fumble on his only sack of the season (which was in the regular season finale against Air Force) ... had a season-high eight tackles at No. 4 Oregon when he also forced a fumble and had one pass breakup ... had seven tackles in a win at Nevada, Nov. 10.

2011 (Redshirt Freshman): Played in nine games, mainly on special teams ... recorded three tackles on the year.

2010 (Freshman): Redshirted.

High School: Played both sides of the football for the Grizzlies, helping the team to a 9-5 record ... was a key wide receiver with 67 receptions for 1,127 yards his senior season and 11 scores ... best game came against West Ranch, gaining 178 yards on six reception for two touchdowns ... also contributed defensively with 27 total tackles on the season and two interceptions ... was named 2009 All-CIF Team and All-Baseline League first Team ... was a part of the 2009 Inland Empire All-Star Team.

Personal: Born on Feb. 6, 1992 ... the son of Anthony and Sharon Alston ... has a brother, Mark, and a sister, Ashley ... admires his mother for taking care of him and making sacrifices for him ... lists his favorite athlete as Darrel Revis because he is a very good and disciplined corner, which he aspires to be like ... also recruited by Wisconsin, UNLV and Colorado State ... criminology major.
