2013 (Junior): Missed the entire season with a shoulder injury.

2012 (Sophomore): Named to the 2012 Mountain West Academic All-Conference team ... played in all 13 games on the season ... recorded two catches for 19 yards ... longest reception went for 14 yards against Hawai'i, Nov. 3.

2011 (Redshirt Freshman): Selected to the Academic All-WAC team ... appeared in 10 games on special teams ... returned one kickoff for seven yards against Cal in the season opener.

2010 (Freshman): Redshirted.

High School: Won back-to-back EYL Championships ... won Valley Championship in 2008 ... captain of the team during his senior season ... named first-team EYL and second-team all-county.

Personal: Son of Kim and Gregg Barnes ... has one brother, Bobby ... hobbies include camping and watching movies ... lists his favorite athlete as Tim Tebow because of the type of player he is and he steps up when needed ... chose Fresno State because he grew up watching them play and always wanted to be a Bulldog ... kinesiology major and working on getting his physical education credential.
