High School: Was a two-year varsity letterwinner at Wilcox High School in Santa Clara, Calif. ... helped his team to a 12-1 record as a senior ... earned All-SCVAL honors following his senior campaign ... also excelled as a pitcher on the baseball team for which he earned All-SCVAL, All-Central Section and Pitcher of the Year accolades.
