Fresno State: A blue-chip recruit who made an immediate impact on the Bulldog defense … was a vital key in the team’s ability to stuff the run … came on as the season progressed, and as he did so did the unit as a whole … signed with Fresno State in December 2002 … was one of the most dominating JC lineman in the country prior to becoming a Bulldog … should be in the running for All-WAC honors this year. (2003) Played in 14 games, starting 13 … finished up with 42 tackles, including nine for loss, a sack and two quarterback hurries … his best game was against Rice when he had eight tackles, including one for loss … also racked up seven tackles at SMU … trailed off a bit down the stretch, picking up just four combined tackles in the final four games.

Reedley Junior College (2001-02): A first-team All-American by JC Gridwire … led Reedley to a state JC championship in 2002 … registered 75 tackles and 15 1/2 sacks last year … named Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Year and the defensive MVP of the state championship game … led the state’s No. 1-ranked defense, which allowed just 36 rushing yards per game in 2002 … scored a touchdown on a fumble recovery against Fresno City College in the state semifinal playoff game … a first-team all-conference pick in 2000.

High School: Was an All-American as both a defensive end and offensive guard … helped lead his team to a 9-2 record his senior year.
