Fresno State: Enters fall camp as the leading candidate to start at defensive end ... had a excellent spring and was missed last season ... worked hard in the off season to rehabilitate his injury and get stronger and faster ... a great athlete who can put pressure on the quarterback from the edge ... a leader because of his work ethic. (2008) Redshirted due to an injury suffered in 2008 spring drills. (2007) Had nine tackles in nine games during his first season as a Bulldog... also had 2.5 sacks for total loss of 14 yards.

High School: Ranked as the 13th-best defensive end in California by one recruiting service ... in his senior season, made 57 total tackles, 40 were solo ... averaged 6.3 tackles per game ... had 10 sacks on the year ... recovered one fumble ... an honors student in high school who was on the honor roll for six semesters ... first-team All-Sunset League ... team captain and Most Valuable Player ... blocked one field goal ... helped Los Alamitos to a 7-4 record in 2006.

Personal: Born March 3, 1989 ... parents are Carolyn and Ken Borg ...has one brother Casey ... co-captain and co-MVP with Steven Clark (Utah State) at Los Alamitos... also likes to snowboard... a kinesiology major ... also recruited by Nevada, Colorado State, San Diego State and Utah State.
