Fresno State: Brings toughness and intelligence to the line backing corps...will be a back-up and should be a fixture on special teams. (2007) A walk-on, who mostly played on the special teams in his first season as a Bulldog. He played in six games his freshman season with three unassisted tackles and six assisted tackles for a total of nine on the season.
High School: Played for Clovis West in Fresno... as a junior in high school he had 78 tackles and 2 interceptions, along with two forced fumbles and one touchdown... was also voted to the all-league honorable mention list and his team won the Valley Championship... his senior year the hard hitting linebacker had 100 tackles on the season and three interceptions... he also had five forced fumbles and three touchdowns... was a member of the first team all-league and defensive MVP.
Personal: Born November 5, 1987 ... one of six children of Fresno State Defensive Coordinator Dan Brown and his wife, Mindy... has three brothers and two sisters ... Marcus Riley is his favorite athlete ... likes to play video games, hang out with friends and family, and be outdoors playing sports... also recruited by San Diego and Adams State.
