High School: First NYL Championship ... two-time all-league selection at tight end ... played in the city/county all-star game ... led the Wildcats to a 7-4 record playing both defensive end and tight end ... averaged over 17 yards per reception and scored two touchdowns as a senior ... had 21 catches for 358 yards ... his best game came against Washington Union in which he had four receptions for 104 yards ... on defense, he contributed 30 tackles with six sacks and recovered four fumbles.

Personal: Born March 11, 1990 in Fresno ... parents are Kimberly Ellis and Michael Butler, Sr. .... has two brothers, Malik and Tamarie, and three sisters, Tanay, Michaela, and Makiah ... cousin Damian Shelton played football for Buffalo for 10 years ... enjoys sleeping, hanging out with friends and listening to music ... Ray Lewis is his favorite athlete because he displays the training and mind set for a linebacker ... biggest thrill as an athlete is putting fear in his opponent ... most admires his family and coaches for teaching him and preparing him for life ... lives by the motto, "Bulldog Born, Bulldog Bred!" ... majoring in criminology-corrections.
