2014 (Freshman): All-Mountain West honorable mention selection, becoming the 11th true freshman in MW history to receive all-conference honors ... made five starts at tight end and played in all 14 games ... totaled 13 receptions for 150 yards and four touchdowns ... became the first Fresno State true freshman, wide receiver or tight end, to record four TDs receiving this century ... his four TDs tied all Bulldog tight ends for the second-most in Fresno State single-season history ... posted first career catch and touchdown on same play against Southern Utah on Sept. 20 ... caught four passes for 55 yards and two touchdowns at UNLV on Oct. 10 -- one of which was a 29-yard TD catch, the longest TD catch by a tight end since Bear Pascoe (75 yards) on Oct. 14, 2006 ... matched season-high of four receptions and set season-high for yards with 62 on Nov. 8 vs. San Jose State.
High School: Was a four-year varsity player for coach Mark Cooley at Pleasant Valley High School ... played tight end, linebacker and punter and as a senior in 2013 ... helped his team earn a spot in the CIF Northern Section Division I playoffs ... was named to the All-CIF Northern Section team in 2013 ... selected to both the offensive and defensive first-teams in the Eastern Athletic League in his senior year ... also played basketball for Pleasant Valley High School and was a member of the track & field team.
