2014 (Freshman): All-Mountain West honorable mention selection, becoming the 11th true freshman in MW history to receive all-conference honors … made five starts at tight end and played in all 14 games … totaled 13 receptions for 150 yards and four touchdowns … became the first Fresno State true freshman, wide receiver or tight end, to record four TDs receiving this century … his four TDs ties all Bulldog tight ends for the second-most in Fresno State single-season history … posted first career catch and touchdown on same play against Southern Utah on Sept. 20 … caught four passes for 55 yards and two touchdowns at UNLV on Oct. 10 – one of which was a 29-yard TD catch, the longest TD catch by a tight end since Bear Pascoe (75 yards) on Oct. 14, 2006 … matched career-high of four receptions and set career-high for yards with 62 on Nov. 8 vs. San Jose State.
High School: Was a four-year varsity player for coach Mark Cooley at Pleasant Valley High School ... played tight end, linebacker and punter and as a senior in 2013 ... helped his team earn a spot in the CIF Northern Section Division I playoffs ... was named to the All-CIF Northern Section team in 2013 ... selected to both the offensive and defensive first-teams in the Eastern Athletic League in his senior year ... also played basketball for Pleasant Valley High School and was a member of the track & field team.
