2013 (Junior): Played in all 13 games, starting the first 11 of the season at cornerback ... recorded 53 tackles and 5.5 tackles for a loss ... intercepted one pass on the year, which he returned for 22 yards in the Idaho game ... tied for the team lead with seven pass breakups ... had one quarterback hurry and forced one fumble at San Jose State ... posted a season-high of six tackles in six different games, including the Sept. 20 Boise State game when all six of his tackles were solo stops ... had four-straight games with six tackles from Oct. 5-Nov. 2.
Prior to Fresno State: Out of high school he enrolled at Division II Mars Hill College [N.C.] and in 2010 he had 52 tackles, two interceptions and one tackle for a loss ... in 2011, he returned home to help his family out ... enrolled at Fullerton College in 2012 ... was not eligible for games during the 2012 football season, so he only practiced with the team ... was eligible in the spring to compete with the track & field team, where his events were the 4x400 relay, 4x100 relay and the long jump
High School: Was a starting quarterback and safety as a junior at University High School in Orlando ... played just quarterback his senior season, when he was named his team's offensive MVP and was selected as a Central Florida Top 100 player.
Personal: Son of Joanne and Curtis Riley ... has an older sister, Chanelle, and a younger brother, Jaden ... majoring in journalism and mass communications.
