WAC releases its 2011 All-Academic teams for the fall sports; Bulldogs show well in the classroom

2011 (Redshirt Freshman): Selected to the Academic All-WAC team ... played in all 13 games on the defensive line ... finished with 16 tackles on the year, the most by a non-starter from the front four ... best game of the season was at Hawai'i, when he recorded three tackles, including his first career sack in a three-point victory ... posted three tackles in two other games - at New Mexico State and vs. No. 5 Boise State ... had a tackle in seven of the last eight games of the season.
2010 (Freshman): Redshirted.
High School: Powerful and strong tackle, playing both sides of the ball... team captain ... was named first team all-region as both an offensive and defensive lineman ... named Offensive Lineman of the Year ... senior year recorded 10 sacks and three forced fumbles ... as a junior was an all-city offensive tackle... in his high school career he posted 109 tackles and 13 sacks... best game came against San Luis when Davison recorded eight tackles and 1.5 sacks... as a junior wrestler went 15-4 and won two tournaments competing in heavy weight.
Personal: One of four children of Katie and Ramsey Davison ... born on Sept. 23, 1992 in Phoenix, Ariz. ... has a brother, Zack, and two sisters, Kiara and Kallie ... hobbies include football, working out, fishing and spending time with friends and family ... favorite athlete is Jerry Rice because he worked so hard to become the best wide receiver in NFL history ... also recruited by UNLV, Arizona and Air Force.
