2011 (Senior): Named to the 2011 Capital One Academic All-District Football first team for District 8 ... selected to the Academic All-WAC team ... played in eight games, making six starts at free safety ... finished with 31 tackles, good for 10th on the team despite missing five games due to injury ... had one tackle for a loss and broke up one pass on the year ... his 14 tackles at Nevada were the most by a Bulldog since Ben Jacobs had 15 against Wisconsin in 2009 ... missed the North Dakota and Idaho games with a hamstring injury ... suffered a broke hand in the New Mexico State game that caused him to miss the rest of the season ... received Fresno State's Director's Academic Award.
2010 (Junior): Out with a season ending knee injury during fall camp.
2009 (Sophomore): Played in all 13 games as a defensive back and was selected Academic All-WAC ... was a key contributor on special teams ... had a season-high two tackles at Nevada ... had 12 tackles on the season.
2008 (Redshirt Freshman): Had a solid season, appearing on special teams the majority of the season and saw action in the secondary later in the year ... played in 10 games and made eight tackles, four solos ... selected Academic All-WAC.
2007 (Freshman): Redshirted.
High School: Named third team All-State by Cal-Hi Sports ... selected to the Fresno Bee All-Star first team ... made 90 tackles in 11 games as a senior ... first team All-TRAC ... coached by Jim Hartigan ... played basketball for Clovis West, a program that advanced to the California state title game in 2006.
Personal: Born Nov. 4, 1988 ... a Fresno native and youngest son of former Fresno State head coach Pat Hill and his wife, Cathy ... a biology major who enjoys surfing and playing the guitar ... also recruited by Colorado, Stanford and Utah ... chose Fresno State because of the school and football program ... majoring in biology-pre-med.
