2013 (Senior): Enters senior season needing just 15 more kickoff returns to tie the NCAA career record of 141 held by Tyron Carrier from Houston (2008-11) ... currently ranks third in school history with 4,504 all-purpose yards and needs 1,322 more to break that school record.
2012 (Junior): Selected to the 2012 All-Mountain West honorable mention team ... played in all 13 games, drawing 11 starts at wide receiver ... was on the watch lists for the CFPA All-Purpose Trophy, the Paul Hornung and Jet Return Specialist awards ... ranked third in the Mountain West with 851 receiving yards and was fourth with 65.5 yards per game ... was eighth in the conference with 4.38 receptions per game and third on the team with 57 catches ... his six touchdown catches were the third-most in the conference ... his 97-yard touchdown catch at New Mexico tied for the longest reception in Mountain West history, was the second longest in school history and was the second longest in the FBS in 2012 ... caught three passes for 107 yards in that Colorado game for his second career 100-yard receiving game ... set a new career-high with 158 yards receiving on seven catches in the regular season finale against Air Force ... had five or more catches in 7-of-12 games ... ranked No. 4 in the Mountain West in all-purpose yards per game with 124.8, which ranked 40th nationally ... returned 29 kickoffs for 651 yards and averaged 22.4 yards per return ... returned eight punts for 82 yards on the year with a long return of 29 yards against Colorado.
2011 (Sophomore): Played in all 13 games and drew one start at wide receiver in the season opener against California ... set new NCAA FBS records in kickoff returns in a season (75), most kickoff returns per game (5.8), kickoff return yardage in a season (1,606) and most yards returned per game (123.5) ... on the year he caught 40 passes for 436 yards and one touchdown, a 23-yard score in a win over Utah State, Oct. 15 ... was fourth on the team in receptions ... led team with 2,042 all-purpose yards and ranked second in the WAC with 155.1 all-purpose yards per game, which also ranked 10th nationally ... his 2,042 all-purpose yards ranks No. 2 in Fresno State single-season history ... recorded his first-career 100-yard receiving game in the season finale at San Diego State, as he caught a career-high seven passes for 135 yards with a season-long reception of 54 yards in the contest ... averaged 10.9 yards per catch and had nine receptions of over 20 yards ... averaged 21.4 yards per kickoff return and had a long of 47 yards at San Diego State to give the 'Dogs the ball in Aztec territory when they were trailing 35-28 with under a minute to play.
2010 (Freshman): Had 696 all-purpose yards, the fourth-most on the team ... caught 12 passes for 179 yards and two touchdowns with a 58-yarder against Cal Poly ... had 12 carries for 70 yards with one touchdown ... averaged 26.3 yards on 17 kickoff returns with a long of 52.
High School: Played both ways for the Crusaders and led his team to a 15-0 season and the CIF Small School State Championship as a senior ... offensively, he finished the season with 1,771 yards passing, completing 77-of-130 passes and 27 touchdowns ... rushed for 1,826 yards on 195 carries and 26 touchdowns ... defensively, he posted 90 tackles on the season, seven sacks, and five interceptions ... during the season he was named U.S. Air Force Player of the Week and ESPN Rise CalHiSports.com Boys Student Athlete of the Week ... in the CIF Small School State Championship, he led his team to victory by completing 8-of-10 passes with three touchdowns while running for 135 yards and a TD ... on defense he had eight tackles, and two sacks ... named Max Preps Small School State Player of the Year, Modesto Bee's Player of the Year and the 2009 Sac Joaquin Section MVP... in his high school career, Burse rushed 545 times for 4,003 yards and 61 touchdowns... he completed 363-of-637 passes for 6,890 yards and 87 touchdowns.
