    Other Notes: His father, Skip McClendon, played seven seasons in the NFL at defensive end for the Bengals, Chargers, Colts and Vikings.

    Coaches Comments: "At 6-8, 270 pounds, he showed surprisingly good ball skills and did a nice job of catching the ball and blocking for the run. We thought he would fit in very well with what we ask our tight ends to do in our offense."
