Prior to Fresno State: Caught one pass for six yards in 2012 at Phoenix College ... primarily used as a blocking tight end in the run game that helped the team rush for 121.5 yards per game as a freshman in 2011. High School: Played both football and basketball at Lake Howell High School.

Coaches Comments: "At 6-8, 270 pounds, he showed surprisingly good ball skills and did a nice job of catching the ball and blocking for the run. We thought he would fit in very well with what we ask our tight ends to do in our offense."
