    Fresno State: One of the top pass-catching tight ends on the West Coast … earned freshman All-America honors in 2000 and missed All-WAC honors only because UTEP’s All-American Brian Natkin played the same position … the best athlete at the tight end position on the team … has big-play capability … runs good routes and has the speed to create a mismatch and outrun linebackers … possesses some of the best hands on the team … has an outstanding future in the program. (2001) Played and started in three games before injuring his wrist against Wisconsin … the injury caused him to miss the rest of the season … is expected to be 100 percent for the 2002 season. (2000) Named first-team Freshman All-America by The Sporting News and the Football News … one of the Bulldogs’ best receivers, racking up 27 catches for 285 yards and two touchdowns … had a big game at Rice, catching six passes for 77 yards and two touchdowns … had five catches for 49 yards against No. 15 UCLA … averaged 28.5 receiving yards per game.
