2014 (Senior): Played in the first three games before suffering a season-ending shoulder injury against No. 21 Nebraska ... was granted a medical redshirt by the NCAA ... caught seven passes for 48 yards, including one touchdown at Utah in week two, and had one rush in his shortened season for a loss of two yards.
2013 (Junior): Named to the Mountain West All-Academic team ... played in all 13 games, including a start at Wyoming - his fourth career start ... ranked third on team in rushing with 148 yards ... against New Mexico, staked season-highs in rushes (8) and rushing yards (65) all in a single fourth-quarter drive that was started by his 40-yard carry - the longest rush of the season by any Bulldog ... later scored a one-yard TD rush vs. Lobos, while his other TD on the season came on a one-yard plunge vs. Rutgers ... also had a 31-yard rush against Idaho ... among his four catches on year, two came in opener vs. Rutgers, and he added a single reception vs. Cal Poly and Hawai'i ... posted one tackle on special teams in the Nevada win.
2012 (Sophomore): Named to the Mountain West All-Academic team ... played in 11 games in 2012 ... recorded three unassisted tackles on the year ... tallied one tackle for a loss of three yards ... started the season at linebacker, but moved back to fullback towards the end of the year ... moved to running back during spring ball 2013.
2011 (Freshman): Played in 11 games, making three starts at fullback from Oct. 7-22 ... had three tackles on special teams ... blocked for running back Robbie Rouse, who ran for 1,549 yards and 13 touchdowns ... Rouse's rushing total led the WAC and was the third-most in a season in school history ... switched from linebacker to fullback in fall camp and switched back to linebacker in the spring of 2012.
High School: Played linebacker, fullback and tight end at McNair High School ... one of the top ranked high school wrestlers in California during his senior season and named to the National High School Coaches Association All-America team ... rated as the 88th-best player in the state ... selected to the Cal-High Sports All-State second-team ... led his team to an 8-4 record and the second round of the CIF Sac-Joaquin section playoffs ... earned all-section honors ... finished his senior season with 171 tackles, 102 of them solo, for an average of 15.5 per game ... had 39 receptions for 570 yards and three touchdowns ... had a season-high of 22 tackles against West High of Tracy ... made 16 solo tackles against St. Mary's.
