High School: Named first-team All-State for Class AA by the Atlanta Journal Constitution and the Georgia Sportswriters Association in both 2010 and 2011 ... was The Telegraph's All-Middle Georgia GHSA Football Player of the Year in 2011 ... played in the GACA North/South All-Star Football game on Dec. 30, 2011 ... entered the starting lineup midway through his freshman year and ended prep career with 6,260 rushing yards - good for 13th on Georgia's all-time record list (123 yards more than legendary running back Herschel Walker) ... after team went 2-8 during his freshman season, he led the War Eagles to a 25-6 record from 2009-11, which was the school's highest three-year win total since going 26-12 from 1995-97 ... helped lead Putnam County to a 9-3 overall record as a senior and the AA Region 4 Championship when he ran for 2,180 yards and 23 touchdowns ... averaged 8.8 yards per carry as a senior ... had a 249 yard rushing game and two 300-yard games during senior season, including a 320-yard, three TD effort against Jefferson County in a first-round playoff defeat ... as a junior he led the state in rushing with 2,155 yards and 19 touchdowns.
