High School: A tri-sport letterwinner who excelled in football, wrestling and track and field was named All-South Sequoia League as a junior and senior, and all-area as a senior was also named the teams Most Valuable Lineman after helping his team to a 12-1 record his senior season compiled a 14-2 record in the heavyweight division in wrestling also an all-league discus thrower and shot putter.
