2013 (Senior): Honorable mention All-Mountain West ... Started 12 games to give him 19 career-wise and played all 13 at defensive end ... Ranked 12th season-wise among MW linemen/defensive ends (and tops among the `Dogs) in tackles (46), and is the only Bulldog lineman with an interception this year ... tied for third on the team with 8.0 tackles for a loss, had three sacks, three pass breakups and one quarterback hurry ... set a career-high with eight tackles, including one stop behind the line of scrimmage, in the Las Vegas Bowl vs. USC ... at Idaho, led defense with his personal season highs and team game highs in tackles for loss (3.0 - 14 yards), sacks (2.0 - 12) and interceptions (1) ... Opened Vandal tilt with eight-yard sack, and added another sack and his first career interception in the third quarter after a teammate's QB hit ... Also had five tackles at San Jose State and four vs. Rutgers, Cal Poly and New Mexico, and also wrapped up a pair of Mustangs for tackles for loss.

2012 (Junior): Appeared in 13 games with seven consecutive starts to end the season ... recorded a total of 29 tackles on the year ... tallied 19 solo tackles and 10 assisted tackles ... had six tackles for a loss of 27 yards ... totaled three sacks ... recorded two sacks against Nevada, which tied for the most in a game by a Bulldog on the season ... scooped up one fumble recovery against Hawai'i.

2011 (Sophomore): Did not see game action.

2010 (Redshirt Freshman): Had 11 tackles in six games of action ... had one sack (vs. Idaho) and 2.5 tackles for losses on the year ... moved to the defensive line in the spring.

2009 (Freshman): Redshirted as a scout team offensive lineman.

High School: One of the most dominating players in the state ... selected second-team All-State as a defensive tackle ... was a dominating offensive lineman as well, leading a team that produced two 1,000-yard rushers ... a two-time All-Valley selection ... set a school record with 15 sacks in his senior season ... considered one of the best players ever to come from Sanger ... named Lineman of the Year in his conference as junior and a senior ... played for coach Chuck Shidan ... recruited by Arizona State, Arizona and San Diego State ... majoring in kinesiology.

Personal: Born on June 6, 1991 ... son of Sabrina Gibson and Rolando Motta ... has two older sisters, Whitley and Marissa ... has one older brother, Nikolas, and three younger brothers, Aaron, Michael and Terrance ... majoring in kinesiology.
