2012 (Senior): Played in all 13 games and made nine starts at outside linebacker ... totaled 51 tackles on the year ... tallied 11.5 tackles for a loss of 41 yards and had four sacks for a loss of 22 yards on the year ... tied for sixth in the Mountain West in tackles for a loss ... recorded a season-best nine tackles against Oregon, which included four tackles for a loss of 16 yards and one fumble recovery ... grabbed an interception against Tulsa and returned it for 21 yards for a touchdown ... totaled three pass breakups on the year and six quarterback hurries ... nominated for the Burlsworth Trophy, which is given to the most outstanding football player in America who began his career as a walk-on.
