Fresno State: A former walk-on who played a key role in the team's defensive prowess in 2004 ... an agile player saw the most significant playing time of his career last season ... began the year as one of the starters at linebacker ... though he became a reserve late in the year, he still saw considerable playing time and will again this season. (2004) Played in 10 games, starting six ... recorded 49 tackles, the fifth-best number on the team ... also had 10.0 tackles for loss, the second-best total among Bulldogs ... played fantastically in the bowl game against Virginia, making six tackles, including 1.5 for loss ... missed the season opener at Washington with a shoulder injury ... had a big game at Louisiana Tech, recording 10 tackles, including one for loss ... his one sack of the year came against Nevada.
