Fresno State: One of the Bulldogs’ best possession receivers … owns excellent hands … reliable receiver who catches whatever is thrown near him … a very intelligent player who runs good routes and rarely mistakes mistakes. (2000) Played in eight games … missed parts or all of the final three games due to a hip flexor … caught 11 passes for 106 yards and a touchdown … had a big game in the victory over Rice, catching four passes for 41 yards, including a touchdown which brought Fresno State within two of the Owls. High School: A 1997 graduate of Clovis (Calif.) High School ... earned first team All-Fresno Bee All-Star honors as a senior in 1996 ... finished first in the Central Section in receiving yards (1,004) and second in receptions (49) ... also totaled seven touchdowns ... helped lead Clovis High to a Tri-River Athletic Conference championship and a runner-up finish in the Valley playoffs ... also an all-league performer in track (sprints).
