Fresno State: One of the Bulldogs? best possession receivers ? owns excellent hands ? reliable receiver who catches whatever is thrown near him ? a very intelligent player who runs good routes and rarely mistakes mistakes. (2000) Played in eight games ? missed parts or all of the final three games due to a hip flexor ? caught 11 passes for 106 yards and a touchdown ? had a big game in the victory over Rice, catching four passes for 41 yards, including a touchdown which brought Fresno State within two of the Owls. The following two-point conversion tied the game with less than two minutes to go ? had three catches for 21 yards against Hawai?i. (1999) Injured and did not play. (1998) Redshirted. (1997) Played in eight games, with one start, as a true freshman ... caught five passes for 53 yards.

High School: A 1997 graduate of Clovis (Calif.) High School ... earned first team All-Fresno Bee All-Star honors as a senior in 1996 ... finished first in the Central Section in receiving yards (1,004) and second in receptions (49) ... also totaled seven touchdowns ... helped lead Clovis High to a Tri-River Athletic Conference championship and a runner-up finish in the Valley playoffs ... also an all-league performer in track (sprints).

Personal: Born July 12, 1979, in Fresno ... son of Dan and Lily Shabaglian ... has one brother and one sister.
