High School ... earned first team All-Fresno Bee All-Star honors as a senior in 1996 ... finished first in the Central Section in receiving yards (1,004) and second in receptions (49) ... also totaled seven touchdowns ... helped lead Clovis High to a Tri-River Athletic Conference championship and a runner-up finish in the Valley playoffs ... also an all-league performer in track (sprints).
