2015 (Sophomore): Played in nine games and made five starts at outside linebacker … he missed three games from Oct. 3-16 due to a knee injury sustained in the first quarter of the Sept. 26 game at San Jose State … recorded 22 tackles on the season, 3.5 tackles for a loss and one sack …also was credited for three quarterback hurries … top performances on the year came in the Nevada game when he had a season-high six tackles and in the season-opener against Abilene Christian when he posted a personal-best 2.0 tackles for a loss, including his lone sack on the year.

2014 (Freshman): Named to the 2014 Academic All-Mountain West team ... played in 13 games as a true freshman ... recorded first career tackle in second career game on Sept. 6 at Utah and first career tackle for loss ... registered first career sack against San Diego State on Oct. 3 ... totaled five tackles on the season, 2.5 of which were TFLs and 1.5 sacks ... also credited with a quarterback hurry on Nov. 8 vs. San Jose State.

High School: Was a first-team All-District 23-5A selection as a junior and senior for Elkins High School when he led the district in sacks both years ... helped lead the Knights to an 8-3 record during senior season under coach Dennis Brantley ... in the Class 5A Area playoffs, he stripped the running back of the ball and returned it 30 yards for a touchdown in a 48-21 win over Port Arthur Memorial ... recorded 30 sacks in two seasons playing on varsity.

Personal: Born in Nigeria ... son of Petronilla and Gabriel Okeke ... the second oldest of five siblings - has two brothers, Gabriel and Mitchell, and two sisters, Tracy and Cynthia ... mechanical engineering major.
