2013 (Senior): Named an honorable mention All-American by Sports Illustrated, becoming the first offensive lineman at Fresno State to garner All-America accolades since guard Cole Popovich in 2005. ... first-team All-Mountain West selection for the second consecutive season ... started all 13 games of the season at left tackle, as he closed out his career with 43 career starts, including 42 consecutive ... member of offensive line that led the way for one of the nation's most prolific offense's, as the Bulldogs led the FBS in passing (394.8 ypg), ranked third in total offense (547.8 ypg) and was sixth in scoring (43.4 ppg) ... he and the rest of the team only allowed 11 sacks in 13 games, a figure that tied for the sixth-fewest sacks allowed in the FBS ... what makes that sack total so impressive is that Fresno State did so while throwing the ball 675 times in 2013, which was 246 more pass attempts than any other of the teams ranked head of the 'Dogs in fewest sacks allowed ... he helped the Bulldog offense produce the best season in school history, setting 19 school offensive records in 2013 ... Fresno State's offensive line helped the team produce 500 yards of offense or more in 9-of-13 games, including five games with over 600 yards ... the Bulldogs, behind its offensive line, set a new school record with 822 yards of offense in the Nov. 23 victory over New Mexico ... voted to the 2013 preseason Mountain West All-Conference team ... on the preseason watch lists for the Rotary Lombardi Award and the Outland Trophy.
2012 (Junior): First-team All-Mountain West selection ... played and started in all 13 games at left tackle ... Fresno State led the Mountain West in scoring (37.9), passing (325.6) and was second in total offense (477.5) behind Wentworth and the Bulldog offensive line ... part of offensive line that allowed Fresno State to rank 17th nationally in scoring, 12th in passing and 16th in total offense ... the Bulldogs averaged 6.2 yards per play and 12.0 yards per completion behind the offensive line ... blocked for running back Robbie Rouse, who had nine 100-yard rushing games, and quarterback Derek Carr, who set a new MW record with 4,104 passing yards ... Carr was able to complete 67.3 percent of his passes and threw for 37 touchdowns ... part of offensive line that only allowed 29 sacks on 535 pass attempts - just 5.4 percent of the team's passes.
2011 (Sophomore): One of only two members on the offensive line to start in all 13 games (six at right tackle, seven at right guard) ... helped the Bulldog offense average 411.8 yards per game ... guided running back Robbie Rouse to 1,549 yards rushing, a total that led the WAC and was the third most in a year in school history ... helped quarterback Derek Carr become the fifth Bulldog to throw for over 3,000 yards in a season ... Fresno State averaged 4.1 yards per rush, 12.7 yards per completion and 6.0 yards per play on the year behind the offensive line.
2010 (Redshirt Freshman): Played in nine games mostly on special teams. A big, physical lineman who has a great future in the program ... filled in admirably at guard and tackle when the Dogs were decimated by injuries in the latter part of the season ... made his first career start against No. 17 Nevada and played well in the Dogs' 35-34 loss.
2009 (Freshman): Redshirted.
High School: As a senior, earned Pioneer Valley League lineman of the year as team sported an 11-2 record ... named First-Team All-PVC (twice), first-team all-metro, first team all-state, Whitney High School Athlete of the Year ... played in KCRA3 All-Star Classic ... also lettered in track as a thrower in shot put and discus.
