• Fresno State's first seven touchdowns were scored by seven different players (Ryan Mathews, Robbie Rouse, Lonyae Miller, Ebahn Feathers, Ryan Colburn, Nico Herron and Marlon Moore) .

• Three Bulldogs scored their first career touchdowns: Ebahn Feathers, Ryan Colburn and Nico Herron.

• The Dogs scored one two plays in the game of 90-yards or more, a 94-yard interception return for a touchdown by Herron and a 90-yard touchdown pass from Colburn to senior receiver Marlon Moore. The longest interception return in Bulldog Stadium history was by Nate Ray, 103 yards vs. SMU in 2002 and Paul Williams owns the record for longest reception (98 yards), set in 2005 vs. Boise State.

Devon Wylie blocked a punt, his first career block. It was the 80th block of the Pat Hill era and the 45th since the 2002 season, which ranks No. 1 among all schools in that time.

• The Dogs are 13-2 when Ryan Mathews starts at running back. Mathews had 11 carries for 106 yards and a 60-yard touchdown, the second-longest of his career.

Tristan Okpalaugo got a safety in the fourth quarter, the first by the Dogs since Oct. 7, 2006 against Utah State.

• Fresno State's 35 points in the first half were the most since the 2005 season, when they had 42 in the first half against Weber State.

• The Dogs improved its record to 12-5-1 all-time against UC Davis and is now 106-84-1 all-time against California schools.

• This shutout was the first by the Dogs since Oct. 20, 2006 against San Jose State and the first time UC Davis has been shutout since 1990. It was Randy Stewart's first game as defensive coordinator
