Derek Carr completed a 49-yard pass to Josh Harper at 10:15, setting up the Bulldogs with a first-and-10 on the Vandal 16-yard line.
Carr hit Jalen Saunders on a 16-yard touchdown pass at 9:54. It was the third, first-quarter touchdown pass between the two in the last two games.
