Pre-Game Notes
• Fresno State captains: 1, 4, 13, 43
• The Bulldogs won the toss, deferred to the second half and will defend the north goal.
• Sophomore Ejiro Ederaine made his first career start at outside linebacker.

1st Quarter
Charles Washington at the 14-minute mark recorded his first career sack, which came on a third-down play.
Derek Carr hit Josh Harper on a 30-yard touchdown pass at 12:08, giving Carr a TD pass in a FBS-leading 24 consecutive games.
• It was Harper's 14th career touchdown reception in his 20th career game.
• The Bulldogs have now scored on their first drive of a game all four times this year. Three of them have been touchdowns.
• At 8:27, Isaiah Burse was disqualified from the game on a targeting penalty when he was blocking downfield.
Derek Carr started the game by completing his first 11 passes for 109 yards and a touchdown.
Marteze Waller scored on a one-yard touchdown run for his first TD of the season.
Donavon Lewis had an 11-yard sack at 1:36, his first of the season.

2nd Quarter
Derek Carr scored on a one-yard run at 13:05, his first rushing touchdown of the season.
Nat Harrison recorded his first sack of the season at 4:00, a three-yard loss. It was the fourth of the game for the Bulldogs.
• Fresno State finished the first half with five sacks, setting a new season-high. The previous high for an entire game was four sacks against Boise State one week ago.
• Fresno State held UH to just 2-of-11 on third-down tries.

3rd Quarter
Aaron Peck caught a 35-yard pass at 13:05 for his second career reception. His first career catch was a four-yard reception in the first half.
Derek Carr hit Josh Harper on a nine-yard touchdown pass at 11:01. Harper now has caught two TDs in 3-of-4 games this season.
Justin Johnson caught his first pass of the season at 8:35, a four-yard reception.
• Carr was picked off at 3:46 on a pass that was deflected at the line of scrimmage, ending his streak of 180 consecutive pass attempts without an interception. His streak was three attempts shy of the Mountain West record of 183 held by Wyoming's Brett Smith.
Ejiro Ederaine recorded his second sack of the game on the last play of the third quarter. He now has recorded two sacks in back-to-back games.
