Fresno State got CSU to go three-and-out on the game's opening drive. This is the fourth-straight game the 'Dogs have held their opponent to zero points on their first drive of the game.
Phillip Thomas' sack at 10:13 forced a fumble that Andy Jennings recovered at the CSU 26-yard line. It was Thomas' second sack of the season and both of them forced fumbles that the Bulldogs recovered.
Davante Adams caught a 10-yard touchdown pass on a third-and-3 at 7:47 to put the Bulldogs up 7-0. It was Adams' fourth touchdown catch this year.
There were only 102 total yards between the two teams in the first quarter - 81 by Fresno State and 21 by Colorado State.
Kyrie Wilson blocked a punt at 1:49, giving the Bulldogs the ball on the CSU 33-yard line.
Derek Carr hit Josh Harper for a 20-yard touchdown pass right before the half. It is Harper's fourth-straight game with a touchdown reception.

On CSU's next possession, Phillip Thomas stopped Charles Lovett for one yard on a fourth-and-2 to turn the ball back over to Fresno State at the Ram 47-yard line.
Robbie Rouse caught his eighth pass of the game midway through the quarter. That sets a new career-high in receptions for him. His previous high is seven, which he has posted in two games including last week in the win over San Diego State.
Rouse's 11-yard run at 1:55 pushed him over 100 yards rushing in the game. It is his fifth 100-yard rushing game this year and the 17th of his career, which moves him into sole possession of second place for the most 100-yard rushing games in school history.
Carr hit Isaiah Burse on a 15-yard touchdown pass at 14:14 for Burse's fourth touchdown of the season. He only had three touchdown receptions in the first 26 games of his career.
Phillip Thomas intercepted his sixth pass of the season at 13:03. Thomas entered the game as the national leader in passes intercepted.
Thomas' six picks in six games ties him for the 10th most in Fresno State single-season history and is the most by a Bulldog since Efrain Guizar picked off six passes in 1997. It is also tied for the second most picks in a year in Mountain West history.
Davante Adams caught his second touchdown pass of the game at 8:31. It was Carr's foruth TD toss and he now has thrown 15 touchdown passes in his last four games.
Andy Jennings recorded a sack and a forced fumble around the five-minute mark. It was his third forced fumble in the last two games and fourth of the season.
