FRESNO, Calif. (AP) - Derek Carr threw for 290 yards and three touchdowns, but opposing quarterback Colby Cameron passed for a career-high 358 yards and four touchdowns, two of them to Quinton Patton, as Louisiana Tech beat Fresno State 41-21 on Saturday night. Lennon Creer added 113 rushing yards and a touchdown as Louisiana Tech (5-4, 4-1) stayed alive in the Western Athletic Conference title hunt with its fourth straight victory. Carr spread the ball around, completing passes to eight different receivers, en route to 39-of-49 passing. He threw touchdown passes to Devon Wylie, Jalen Saunders and Victor Dean, on each in the second, third and fourth quarters. It was a scoreless first quarter that hurt the Bulldogs the most, as they fell behind 17-0 before finally getting on the board early in the second quarter when Carr connected with Dean on a 6-yard score. Myles White, who had 130 receiving yards on just two catches, hauled in a 75-yard down touchdown later in the second quarter that extended Louisiana Tech's lead to a 31-7. It was Louisiana Tech's fifth straight road win in conference play. Robbie Rouse had 96 rushing yards for Fresno State (3-6, 2-2) against the team he torched for 286 yards on 42 carries a year ago. Wylie finished the game with 13 receptions for 149 yards and a 24-yard touchdown.
